Weekly Update for 01/19/15

Math Fest Rescheduled
Join the CAES teachers at Math Fest on Tuesday, January 20 from 6:00-7:30.  There will be games, activities to make and take home, and lots more.  This is a great event for the whole family and will give you many ideas to take home to help enhance math practice.

Fundraiser
You should have received your GA Fundraising packets on Friday.  You probably heard from your child about the some of the prizes.  The coolest prize, at least to me, is the chance to see the Miami Heat Extreme Team.  They perform during halftime during Heat games and travel the country as well.  They will be performing in our CAES gym!!!!  Here is a quick clip for you-
As a reminder, 100% of the proceed will be going towards new playground equipment.  Our school is in it's 21st year and most of the playground equipment was installed as the school opened so it's time to start purchasing some new things!  The fundraiser runs through January 30th.
