Weekly Update for 12/31/12

Happy New Year!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Christmas!  While everyone was at home enjoying their Christmas break, "little elves" were busy in our classroom putting our SMART Board together.  I am excited to get back to school, and learn along with the class how to use this awesome piece of technology!

Weekly Update 12/17/12

Polar Express Day

We will be celebrating Polar Express Day on Tuesday, 12/18/12.  Students are invited to wear their pajamas to school, and bring their favorite stuffed animal to share in our special activities.  We will be having breakfast in the classroom in the morning, reading the story of the Polar Express, watching the movie, and even visiting a special train set up based on the movie. 

"The Grinch Who Stole Christmas"

Our next play will be "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas".  The performance will be on 12/19/12 at 10:30.  Please help your child memorize his/her lines.

Polar Express Day

Congratulations to our class on the success of our first play, "The ABC's of Thanksgiving."  If you have pictures or video of the performance, please send them to me so that we can share them with the class.  Our next play will be "The Grinch Who Stole Christmas".  The performance will be on 12/19/12 at 10:30.  Your child will be bringing home their lines for the play this week.  Please help your child memorize his/her lines.
