Weekly Update for 01/27/20

Thank You
Thank you so much for all of your kind words and well wishes last week.  My toe has healed and is much better.  I appreciate your patience as I continue work through finding out what is causing my hip pain as well.

Black History Month
We will be learning about the lives of several important African Americans this week.  Each student has picked a person he/she is interested in learning more about.  We will research their lives and why he/she is important to our American history.  Look for our projects in the hallway beginning February 3rd.

Crayons, Pencils, and Scissors
As we end the first semester of the school year, now is a good time to send in new crayons, pencils, and replacement scissors.  I have given out all of the boxes of crayons that were sent in at the beginning of the school year.  If you can send in extra supplies, our class would appreciate it.

Mrs. Rosenberry is collected empty tissue boxes for her pre-K students to use.  Mrs. Hall is collecting toilet paper tubes for the Engineering class.
