Spring Break
Just a reminder that Spring Break begins Friday, April 3rd following dismissal.  School will resume on Monday, April 13th.  Enjoy!

Weekly Update for 03/23/15

One School, One Book

This month our school will be starting our third all school book club called One School, One Book, thanks to our wonderful and supportive PTA. Every family will receive a copy of the same book – Jacqueline Davies’ The Lemonade War- and asked to read it at home over the month of March. Here is a link to our school's YouTube channel for the daily chapter read-alouds by Mystery Teacher Readers.

Weekly Update for 03/09/15

Headphones
Our class is in need of ear buds or headphones.  Many of those purchased at the beginning of the year have either broken or been misplaced.  Please check with your child to see if they have ear buds or headphones.  If they do not, replace them and put them into a plastic bag with their name on the outside of it.  If you cannot purchase a set for your child, let me know and I will provide a pair.  Thanks!

Weekly Update for 03/02/15

Snow!
Once again, because of the snow days we had over the last two weeks, our sight words, vocabulary words, and spelling words will be held over for this week.  I will put a new homework sheet in everyone's red homework folder.  Stay warm!

Read Across America Week
The week of March 2 - 6 will be Read Across America Week.  We will be celebrating a different Dr. Seuss book each day of the week.  Below is a list of the books and the special ways we will be celebrating those weeks:
Mon., March 2     Green Eggs and Ham   wear green
Tues., March 3     Fox in Sox               wear silly socks
Wed., March 4    Oh, the Places You'll Go
