Weekly Update for 09/19/16

Puzzle Project
Isle of Wight County Schools has begun to implement project based learning.  Teachers across the county participated in 8 days of training this summer presented by teachers from High Tech High in California.  The first grade classes at CAES decided to embark on this new type of learning by launching our first project this fall.  Ask your child about the activities we have been doing with our Puzzle Project.  We will unveil our finished project on Tuesday, October 11 during PTA Open House.  Make sure to mark your calendar for this important event.
