End of the Year PALS Testing
This week will begin the end of the year PALS (Phonological Awareness Literacy Screening) testing window. Students will be given a spelling test (not something they can study for), a series of sight word lists, and a running record in which they read to me individually. With the information gathered from this testing, I will determine their reading level for the end of the year. Once I have a chance to review the data from testing, I will send a letter home that shows your child's progress for the year.
