Due to the snow and teacher workdays we will be working on the same story and spelling words from last week.  

What are we learning this week?

Language Arts: 
Reading Book Story:  Cherry Pies and Lullabies
Strategy: 
Skill:  Realism and Fantasy; Fiction and Non-fiction
Phonics:  Short A and Long A words (magic e spelling & ai)
Language:  Contractions and Verbs

Math: Time to the Hour/Half Hour and Using a Calendar (SOL 1.11 and 1.12)

Science: Force and Motion (SOL 1.1.2)
