SOL 1.13 Write to communicate ideas for a variety of purposes.
Math:
The student will a)
count forward to 110, starting at any number between 0 and 110, and write the
corresponding numerals;
b) represent a number
from 0-110 using concrete objects;
c) count backward by
ones when given any number between 1 and 30
Science: Animals
SOL 1.5 The student will investigate and understand that animals, including humans, have basic needs and certain distinguishing characteristics. Key concepts include:
a. basic needs include adequate air, food, water, shelter, space (habitat);
b. animals, including humans, have many different physical characteristics; and
c. animals can be classified according to a variety of characteristics.
