Class Dojo.
In an effort to help foster a “GREAT” classroom,
we will begin using Class Dojo. Attached
to this memo is your child’s log-in information. Please register by Monday, February 12. As a class we will use this app to earn
points for being “GREAT” citizens. I
will also occasionally use it to send out updates about our class.
What does it mean to be a “GREAT” citizen? A “GREAT” citizen shows the following:
Growth:
Do your choices show improvement in learning and/or implementing the
routines, procedures and expectations of our school community?
Respect:
Do your action show that you value yourself, others and your
environment?
Empathy:
Do your actions show understanding of another’s thoughts and feelings?
Accountability:
Do your actions show that you take ownership of your choices?
Trustworthiness:
Do you actions and words show integrity, honesty, and reliability?
Food Drive
The SEARCH students are coordinating a school wide food drive.
The non-perishable pantry items will be donated to the COP Food Bank to help
our community. Students may send in
items beginning Monday, February 5.
The food drive will continue through Friday, March 9th.
We will be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Wednesday, February 14. Attached to the weekly memo for last week was a list of all the students in our class. Please let me know if you didn't receive one.
