Parent-Student-Teacher
Conferences
We will begin
holding our second round of Parent-Student-Teacher conferences in the coming
weeks. Look for more information on
scheduling a conference in the near future.
GREAT Citizenship
As we start 2019, we
will shift our focus in citizenship from GRIT to GREAT. This was a district
initiative introduced last school year, and should be familiar to those
students who attended CAES last year . The letters in the word GREAT stand for:
· Growth
· Respect
· Empathy
· Accountability
· Trustworthiness
We will focus on one
letter in GREAT from now until May. For
the month of January the focus will be on growth. Growing stronger, more dedicated, better at a
skill, deeper in a relationship – these are a few ways that January encourages
us to be better, and being better is what growth is all about.
PTA Snow Ball
Please come and enjoy the 2019 Snow Ball on
Friday, January 18 from 6:00 p.m.
to 7:30 p.m. All grades are
invited for Carrollton students and their families (parents must attend with their
child). There will be a DJ, dancing, and
snacks! We will need parent volunteers
to help with providing baked goods and manning the refreshment table. We appreciate your help as these events need
lots of volunteers! Please sign up using the following link:
