To
Infinity & Beyond
Please mark Wednesday,
March 11th (6:00PM - 6:30PM) down on your calendar as Mrs. Booth and
our class’ “To Infinity & Beyond” Expo.
This will be the night that our two classes share all that we have
learned about Space in conjunction with Mrs. Vukmanic’s SOAR class. It is my hope to have all students attend
this special event. More information will be coming home soon.
Black
History Month
We will be learning about
the lives of several important African Americans this week. Each student has picked a person he/she is
interested in learning more about. We
will research their lives and why he/she is important to our American history. Look for our projects in the hallway beginning
February 3rd.
Valentine’s
Day
We will
be celebrating Valentine’s Day on Friday, February 14. If your child would like to share valentine
cards with the class, please make sure to include one for each child in our
class. A list of students’ names is on
your child’s behavior check-in located in his/her reading folder.
Crayons, Pencils, and
Scissors
As
we end the first semester of the school year, now is a good time to send in new
crayons, pencils, and replacement scissors.
I have given out all of the boxes of crayons that were sent in at the
beginning of the school year. If you can
send in extra supplies, our class would appreciate it.
